As Believers, every day is a chess match against satan and his kingdom of darkness. If you’re the type that is leaning on your own understanding it doesn’t matter how well planned and articulate, or even how much money you have backing your plan, whether in the short term or long term it’s going to fail guaranteed by default.  The Key to obtaining victory every day, according to God’s Word, is,  just  Acknowledge Him, in all your ways…

Let’s get into it…..

God has shown me through self-examination that it’s only when we acknowledge and are directed by Him, that we truly succeed. We can have good ideas pop in our heads all day long, but if we don’t acknowledge God and aren’t directed by Him, those plans will fail because there is no spiritual root to them.

Satan always presents humanity with a short view plan, which can look exciting, prosperous, and even wise, however, it’s a plan for destruction.  Satan’s mode of operation is, “short term gain, long term pain.”

God gave me the revelation that Satan and his army are well-staffed 24/7.  He hones in on the smallest details of our lives, those things that we may think are insignificant. Satan wants to utilize that information to create a cunning scheme for our downfall.

God’s Word tells us to be sober, so we can be aware of Satan’s traps.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

1 Peter 5:8

In Ephesians 4:27, the Word of God tells us, “Don’t give place to the devil.”  A burglar doesn’t need a wide-open door to enter into a home. A small bathroom window left slightly open will do. Similarly, Satan only needs a small crack to slip in.

God gave me a revelation that every day and night, Satan is waiting to deploy a spiritual assault on God’s people. Giving place to the devil is giving the devil an open target.

This is why God makes it clear in multiple passages that our steps are to be ordered by the Lord because the spiritual battlefield is blind to us without God’s spiritual vision.

This is a daily chess game with Satan. Humanity must learn that it is impossible to beat him by using your own intellect. First off, Satan sees the whole chessboard. We can’t even see one full square. He’s been playing chess with humans for thousands of years, all the way back to Adam and Eve, which was the first match he won.

The good news is that we have a mighty and wise God ready to make every move for us against Satan, our diabolical opponent. God sees the whole chessboard and beyond. All we have to do is resist moving the pieces ourselves. We must be patient and wait on God. He will tell us how to move throughout “the board” here on earth, He will establish our thoughts according to Proverbs 16:3, which will always lead to victory.

We must come to the understanding that we should never lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Left unto ourselves, we are no match for Satan or his army.  

The enemy’s earthly and spiritual intelligence far outweighs our earthly intelligence. Satan has a communicational and data network that is literally “out of this world.” 

The kingdom of darkness is staffed up against humanity 24/7, planning from early morning to evening: deception, failure, confusion, poor time management, pride, discord, sickness, disease, temptation, distraction, poverty, anger, offense, lack of forgiveness, jealousy, lust, fear, anxiety, etc…Be sober-minded, so you don’t give place!

Imagine how silly we can look to Satan when going out of our house, out into the world, spiritually blind, without acknowledging and consulting with God first in prayer.

God knows and has warned us in His Word, of the snares and deception Satan has laid out for humanity. John 10:10 tells us that Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy. That has been his mode of operation for humanity since the Garden of Eden.

Our loving Heavenly Father has pleaded with us to come to Him for knowledge and wisdom every day on everything (James 1:5), so He can direct and bless our path towards His perfect will for our lives.

The safest, joyful, and most fulfilling place in the world “hands down” is in the Heavenly Father’s perfect will for your life. You get to that place through obedience to His Word.

It is wise to let God’s Holy Spirit guide you in all your ways. This is how God designed it:

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.

Proverbs 5:21

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Psalm 37:23

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall [a]direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your [b]flesh,

And strength[c] to your bones.

Proverbs 3:5-8

God gives us a key to maintaining good health in this passage, which is obedience to His Word. God says it will bring health to our flesh and strength to our bones. In some translations, it says marrow to our bones.  Marrow produces not only strength to our bones, but also good health to our blood, which is the life-center to our body, bringing nutrition to all the members of our body.

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Proverbs 28:26

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 1: 1-3

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Jeremiah 10:23

God’s network supersedes Satan’s network far and beyond. Its intel transcends time and space. Heaven’s data and communication network has access to past, present, and future data. As a Believer, we have the mind of Christ, which is activated when we are walking in the spirit. When it’s activated, we are connected to a Wi-Fi network with unlimited data and spiritual intelligence, being transmitted from the Holy Throne Room of Heaven.

Whatever scheme the enemy has planned or is planning against you, Heaven will dismantle it and keep you secure on God’s path for your life. This privilege is afforded to us through consulting God in prayer.
