Out of The Belly Flows Rivers of Living Water
“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:38
The main key to petitioning an anointed prayer, to making a faith-filled powerful decree, is simply to allow the Holy Spirit to petition and decree for you, according to the Heavenly Father’s perfect will.
This is a lesson that Jesus taught and demonstrated to His disciples, which was why every one of His prayers and decrees hit the target and succeeded without fail. Jesus said:
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 12:49
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 5:19
In summary, Jesus, our Savior, only spoke and would do what His Father would tell Him to speak and do. To be a Christian means to be Christ-like. Those who proclaim to be Christ’s disciples, meaning His disciplined followers, should do likewise.
The power that is bringing the flow of rivers of living water out of the belly is the Holy Spirit. Within that glorious river of water from Heaven is God’s:
- Word
Will
Thoughts
Authority
Power
Anointing
Glory
Wisdom
Knowledge
Prophecy
Healing
Deliverance - And more….
When you repent of your sins and accept and confess, Yeshua as your Lord and Savior and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you not only receive a new Christ spirit within your heart (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 3:17), but you also receive the Holy Spirit within you.
With the awareness by faith that the Holy Spirit now lives in you and that there are Holy rivers from Heaven flowing in your belly, you must will to activate it by faith.
Activation of this gift starts by the discipline of being
still (Psalms 46:10) and discerning the utterance of the Holy Spirit moving within your belly up to your mouth. The utterance often manifests within the believer as a vibration within the mouth and belly region.
The Day of Pentecost was the first baptism of the Holy Spirit, where the Believers of Christ received an utterance from the Holy Spirit:
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:4
Once the Believer senses the utterance, they must, by faith, surrender their will, mind, vocal cords, and entire body to the utterance of the Holy Spirit and allow God’s power to operate and flow through them. In essence, you are allowing the Holy Spirit to fully possess you so that the Heavenly Father can utilize your vessel as an instrument to do His perfect will through you. This is why the Believer’s body is referred to as the Body of Christ or the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), because the believer surrenders their body to the Holy Spirit as Christ our Savior did here on earth.
When we pray, it’s vital that we pray the Heavenly Father’s will as Christ did. The Holy Spirit, which scripture tells us came from the Heavenly Father (John 15:26), knows the Father’s perfect will for our lives and for the lives of others. Allowing the Holy Spirit to pray and decree through us is going to be the perfect prayer all the time. The Holy Spirit has intel both naturally and spiritually about ourselves and others which we are not privy to.
Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:26
Our surrendering our will to God allows the Holy Spirit to pray and decree out of our mouths the most powerful prayers and decrees, even if we have no knowledge of what we’re praying in that the flow of the Spirit comes in real-time in various formats, such as our native tongue, foreign tongue, or as we see in Acts, a Heavenly tongue. When the utterance comes, you must let go by faith and allow the Holy Spirit to possess you, then just open your mouth and speak out the utterance boldly by faith.
Apostle Paul prayed this:
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Ephesians 6:19
The more you spend time with God in prayer, meditating on His Word, the better you will know His presence and utterance.
To get started, relax and allow the spiritual river from your belly to flow into your mind through faith, creating the thoughts of the mind of Christ and an utterance vibration in your mouth region.
God’s Word tells us that if we commit our works to the Lord, He will establish our thoughts (Proverbs 16:3). Just imagine how knowledgeable and wise you can be by allowing the Holy Spirit to think for you. Apostle Stephen had the Holy Spirit flowing thoughts to his mind. That’s why no one was successful in opposing him.
And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.
Acts 6:10
Seven Steps to Flowing in the Spirit:
1. Receive Yeshua as your Lord and Savior and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
2. Meditate and be obedient to God’s Word (Holy Bible)
3. Enter into praise and worship (Thanking God and telling Him how much you love Him.)
4. Relax and be still, find your quiet place (Psalm 46:10).
5. Ask the Lord to search your heart and soul. Repent, forgive and cast all of your cares to Him. (1 John 1:9, Mark 11:25, 1 Peter 5:7).
Note: Unrepented Sin, the inability to forgive and worldly uncasted cares can give place to the devil and allow a wrong spirit to create a false utterance, causing confusion, deception, etc…
6. Discern the utterance, stay relaxed and keep your mind on God.
7. Open your mouth and speak out by faith.
8. Believe, Wait and expect.
*It takes time with the Holy Spirit to get clearly tuned into Him. The more time you spend in God’s Word, and in prayer, the clearer the utterances will become.
